Stellar CBSE Results at Delhi Public School, Greater Noida: Students Shine with Excellence

Greater Noida (20 May 2025): In a moment of pride and celebration, Delhi Public School (DPS), Greater Noida has once again demonstrated academic excellence as students delivered exceptional performances in the CBSE Class 10th and 12th Board Examinations 2025. Ten News Network visited the prestigious campus to speak with Principal Ms. Seema Roy and some of the school’s top achievers.

Delhi Public School, Greater Noida is known for its consistent academic performance, state-of-the-art infrastructure, and emphasis on holistic development. The school offers three main academic streams – Science, Commerce, and Humanities – and supports a wide range of extracurricular and career development programs.

Principal Seema Roy Speaks on the 2025 Board Results

In an exclusive conversation with TEN News, Principal Seema Roy shared her thoughts on the performance of her students, “This year’s CBSE board results have been outstanding. In the Humanities stream, our topper secured an impressive 99.04% aggregate. The overall average for Class 12 stood at 89.4%, which is a testament to the relentless hard work of our students and the unwavering support of teachers and parents. It reflects the strong academic culture we’ve nurtured at DPS Greater Noida.”

When asked if she was satisfied with the results, Ms. Roy responded candidly, It’s a mix of satisfaction and aspiration. “Yes, I am proud of what our students and faculty have achieved, but as educators, we must continuously strive for greater excellence. There’s always room to improve, and our focus remains on raising the bar each academic year.”

Regarding goals for the coming academic session, she stated, “We have set clear academic targets. Our focus is on increasing the subject-wise class averages and pushing individual performance benchmarks. Target-setting is critical to achieving long-term academic success.”

On the topic of career guidance, she added, “We provide a comprehensive career counseling program. Our alumni regularly return to share their journeys and inspire current students. We also host guest speakers from various professions, including parents who contribute their expertise. Additionally, we invite career counselors and representatives from top Indian and international universities to interact with students, ensuring they are well-informed about their future options.”

TEN News Network also spoke to the school’s Class 12 toppers, each representing one of the three streams.

Anushree Venkatesh – Humanities Topper (99.4%)

Anushree’s academic record in the Humanities stream is extraordinary. She scored: 100 in Geography, 100 in Food Production and Finance, 99 in History, 98 in English and Economics.

She said, “My success is the result of a combined effort. My mother kept a constant check on my study schedule, my father supported me without hesitation – even financially – and my teachers were available round the clock. I am deeply grateful to the Principal and Vice Principal for their encouragement.”

During exam preparation, Anushree maintained a disciplined yet balanced routine. She said, “I studied 4–5 hours daily, which increased to 8–9 hours as the exams approached. I made sure to sleep at least 9–10 hours every night to retain what I studied. I also took breaks for walks, art and craft, and creative writing to keep my mind fresh.”

She found Economics the most challenging subject, “Economics was concept-based and included tricky numericals. I relied on reference books like Sandeep Garg and RD Sharma and practiced previous years’ question papers extensively.”

Anushree now plans to pursue Journalism and Mass Communication, driven by her love for writing poetry, articles, and stories.

Gauravi Gupta – Science Topper (99.2%)

Gauravi brought pride to the Science stream with stellar marks: 100 in Chemistry, Finance and Food Production, 99 in English, 97 in Mathematics, 95 in Physics.

She said, I thank my parents, teachers, and school for believing in me. Their continuous support made this achievement possible. Her preparation strategy included 8 hours of study per day, balanced with proper rest and physical activity like evening walks and cycling. Physics was my toughest subject. It often haunted me even in dreams. I overcame the fear by solving as many numericals and problems as I could.

Gauravi aspires to pursue a B.Tech in Data Science, with hopes of making it into an IIT.

Naisha Kumar – Commerce Topper (97%)

Naisha excelled in the Commerce stream with an impressive academic report: 100 in Marketing and Music, 97 in Economics, 96 in Business Studies, 92 in Accountancy and English.

She said, “I owe my success to my parents and teachers. Their consistent support and encouragement were crucial. I also want to thank our Principal and Vice Principal for their guidance. Naisha balanced her board exam studies with preparation for competitive exams. I studied for 6–7 hours daily, setting aside 1–2 hours for competitive exams. I ensured 6–8 hours of sleep and engaged in creative hobbies to stay energized.”

She found Accountancy the most challenging but overcame difficulties through rigorous practice, especially after scoring well in her pre-boards.

Naisha now plans to clear the CUET and pursue a B.Com Honours degree.
